Hitsville Drunks

Hitsville Drunks started in 2007, with Mauro on guitar and his longtime friend and fellow musician Herman Houbrechts (Nemo, Mitsoobishy Jacson, Mauro and the Grooms,...) on drums. They play poppy songs, just with the two of them, reminding very much of the Songs From A Bad Hat period, but even more lighthearted and frivolous.

They played a few gigs from 2007 on. At De Nachten in 2008 Pascal Deweze (bass) and Farid Zahnoun (keys) joined in.

On Christmas 2013 they release a first single called 'JC says JC'. In 2014 their first full album called 'Sincerely Average' follows. The band now consists of Mauro (guitar/vocals), Herman Houbrechts (drums), Jan Wygers (bass) and Sjoerd Bruil (guitar).
